Top:

R1: 6sc into the MR

R2: [inc] x6 (12sts)

R3: [sc, inc] x6 (18sts)

R4: sc, inc, [2sc, inc] x5, sc (24sts)

R5: [3sc, inc] x6 (30sts)

R6: 2sc, inc, [4sc, inc] x5, 2sc (36sts)

R7 – 11: [sc] x36 (36sts) 5 rounds

R12: [sc BLO] x36 (36sts)

R13: [2sc, dec] x9 (27sts)

R14: [sc, dec] x9 (18sts)

R15: [dec] x9 (9sts)

Stuff with fiberfill

R16: [sc, dec] x3 (6sts)

Fasten off, sew up opening and tuck in end.

Bottom:

R1: 6sc into the MR

R2: [inc] x6 (12sts)

R3: [sc, inc] x6 (18sts)

R4: [sc BLO] x18 (18sts)

R5-7: [sc] x18 (18sts) 3 rounds

Fasten off and leave a long tail to sew bottom to top with.

Insert safety eyes, 3 stitches apart, between rounds 5 and 6.

Assembly:

Stuff the base and sew to the mushroom top, tuck in ends and you’re finished!
