


Here’s a simple amigurumi pattern, that can be completed in under an hour and is perfect for the upcoming autumn season!

Equipment
- 4mm hook
- Cotton Yarn 25g Orange (or main colour of choice)
- Cotton Yarn 25g Brown
- Tapestry needle
- Fiberfill stuffing
Key (US)
- MR – Magic Ring
- sc – single crochet
- sts – stitches
- inc – increase
- sl st – slip stitch
- dc – double crochet
- hdc – half double crochet
- hdc inc – half double crochet increase
- dc dec – double crochet decrease
- sc dec – single crochet decrease
- BLO – Back loop only
- [] x – repeat inside bracket x amount of times
- FO – Fasten Off
Pattern
Pumpkin – Orange Yarn:
R1: 6sc into MR (6sts)
R2: [inc] x6 (12sts)
R3: [sc, inc] x6 (18sts)
R4: [sl st, 3dc into next st, 2dc into next st] x6 (36sts)
R5: [sl st, 5dc] x6 (36sts)
R6: [sl st, 2hdc, hdc inc, 2hdc] x6 (42sts)
R7: [sl st, 2dc, dc dec, 2dc] x6 (36sts)
R8: [sl st, 5dc] x6 (36sts)
R9: [sl st, sc dec, sc, sc dec] x6 (24sts)
R10: [sc dec] x12 (12sts)
Stuff with fiberfill
R11: [sc dec] x6 (6sts)
FO, sew up opening and sew a few stitches right through the top to bottom of the piece pull tight to get the dip in the centre of the pumpkin.






Stalk – Brown Yarn:
R1: 6sc into MR (6sts)
R2: [sc, inc] x3 (9sts)
R3: [sc BLO] x9 (9sts)
R4 – 5: [sc] x9 (9sts) 2 rounds
R6: [sc, dec] x3 (6sts)
Stuff with Fiberfill
FO, and sew up the bottom then attach the stalk to the centre of the pumpkin.




You’re finished!
You now have your completed pumpkin decoration, perfect for autumn! You can make them in a number of different shades and colours and keep them together as a set!
